Being a start-up herd we choose our first girls based on what we could afford and where we wanted to go with our breeding plans.
Consequently our girls, though not black, were chosen for their black backgrounds and for what they could potentially produce if mated to black. They were also carefully selected for their fleece stats, all are just over 22 micron.
All our girls are descended from Cedar House Desert Prince. Two of them also have Waltzing Matilda Silquesta in their lineage
Inca Sahara (IAR 50468)
The mother of our first black cria, Tutapi Kalahari, Sahara is an F1 girl who has 7/8 black ancestors. She is a well built girl and a fantastic mum.
Aviana Farms Raylene (IAR 63529)
Raylene's first cria was devastatingly a solid black suri male that was stillborn.
We are hoping for something very special following a successful mating to Wyterrica Marcel
Bloodwood Park Arianna (IAR 77326)
Mother to the first cria born at Tutapi ( Pinta ), Arianna is a well boned girl who looks like she is going to produce excellent offspring, if Pinta is anything to go by.
Tutapi Pinta (IAR 104296)
Sired by Chia Park Columbus Pinta is the first alpaca born at Tutapi. She has all the appearances and quality of what we are aiming for in our suri's. She also has the most placid personality. Her mum and dad should be very proud !
Tutapi Kalahari (IAR 104298)
Sired by Inca Spiritwalker, 'Kali' is a well grown out girl with a wonderful soft handle to her locks. She should go on to be a great foundation for producing stunning black offspring.
